I have marched in various high-level ensembles on Tenors and have found these experiences to be some of my most cherished memories. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Music, with a focus on Music Therapy. I am currently a Board Certified Music Therapist. I have taught marching percussion at various Minnesota High Schools for their Fall, Winter, or Summer programs. I enjoyed these teaching opportunities very much, as they have helped me learn more about myself and the activity. I enjoy learning about new things through Podcasts, YT videos, and books. Some of my favorite material is: Stuff You Should Know Podcast, Stuff To Blow Your Mind Podcast, Vsauce YT channel, Smarter Every Day YT channel, Drumeo YT channel, The Inner Game of Tennis book, and The Power of Now book. I have a wide taste in music, and am continually looking to add new songs to my library. I have many playlist for specific moods, genres, or for inspiration. I dabble here and there with composing music, just wish I had more time to do it.
