This was my first time modeling in a show, and my overall experience was great. Tamika provided great feedback regarding walking, using modeling stance, posing, and how to have fun and interact with the audience. She chose awesome people to walk for her in the show, and we all got along really well. Tamika communicated professionally and respectfully to her models. She also provided all of the clothing for the show which was great because I did not have to come out of pocket to get additional clothing. I would suggest that she get an assistant to help her on the day of the show.Show More
I loved working with Tamika always giving feedback and positive energy and pushing me to go further. The photoshoot was phenomenal i loved the locations and the scenery. I loved my wardrobe and had so much fun walking the runway. Tamika gives top notch coaching and i highly recommend her to anyone whether you’re just getting started or you want to sharpen your skills.Show More
If you want constructive criticism with the passion from a teacher that is truly invested and the know how from the industry then Tamika is the teacher for you.
She is amazing and knowledgeable.
I was one of Tamika’s models for her first fashion show! It was definitely an honor to be involved. Her designs was truly unique and creative! She’s a great stylist with vision and has a lot of advice to offer.
Tamika helped prepare me as a model under her set TYT Productions in the Fashion Show called "Fashion Meets Hip Hop". This was my first time modeling in a fashion show and she helped me to feel comfortable and confident as I walked the runway. She worked hard preparing other models that worked alongside me that were under her set as well. She picked out our outfits and did a great job getting us ready for the show. We did a great job representing her in the fashion show. I look forward to working with her in the future.Show More
Tamika is a great teacher. It was easy working with her because she is passionate, honest, reliable, relatable and fun. She encouraged me to audition for the stage play "Why Does It Hurt So Bad?" and I made it in. She continued to work with me as an Artist Development teacher in the play. She really helped me as an actor and teaching me to take on the character I was portraying. It was amazing seeing myself grow as an actor and getting better during the whole process. I was able to put on a good performance because of her guidance and tutelage. I definitely recommend her.Show More
To be honest I've never acted a day in my life before. Tamika was absolutely wonderful in helping me calm my (obvuously) nervous self, and worked with what I naturally brought to the stage and highlighted my own attributes. By the time I had opening night, I felt more comfortable than presenting to a bunch of investors (which is my day job). Thank you again Tamika, for really helping me develop skills and traits for the acting stage even I didn't know I had in me! I loom forward to working with you again soon!Show More
I was recently in a play titled “Why Does It Hurt So Bad?” with Tamika as an Artist Development teacher. She was extremely helpful when it came to knowing how to project your voice, emoting and becoming the character that you are portraying. Tamika was very professional and she always helped wherever she could. Tamika always gave great advice and how you can improve your craft as an actor. Everyone in the play took note of what Tamika was saying and applied it in the next rehearsal, getting better and better every time. This is the reason why the play was so successful. I will definitely keep in contact with her to keep perfecting my craft and to see if there’s a way that I can take acting lessons from her. Thank you so much Tamika. You’re AWESOME and so TALENTED!Show More
Tamika is very knowledgeable and professional. What I like most about her is how honest she is about your work and progress because that is difficult to find in a acting teacher.
I worked with Tamika to get help with improving my voice and presence. She is very professional and fun to work with. She listens to what you need help with and finds different ways to bring out the best in you. I would definitely recommend her as a teacher.Show More
Tamika is such a great instructor. She helped me break out of my comfort zone and worked with me to schedule lessons around my work schedule. I only got to be her student for a short period of time because school started back up, however, I would DEFINITELY recommend her to anyone who is interested in taking lessons with her. She will bring out the actress/actor in you you never knew was there!Show More
A great instructor, that is very thorough. She is friendly, easy to get along with and creates an excellent learning environment. She prepares you well to be able to perform at your highest capacity. I would strongly recommend her to others.
I was really shy before taking Tamika's class, she really taught me how to bring out my inner actor!
