I love to teach what Eddie Kantar calls "thinking bridge". One of the aspects of thinking bridge is ability to count hands: distribution of suits and points.
Another, is learning DEFENSE. Every bridge player, on an average, defends 50% of a time, declares 25%, and does nothing another 25%.
My gurus are above mentioned Eddie Kantar and Mike Lawrence.

Tad, a licensed Professional Engineer, is an avid bridge player, member of the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL) since 1981, ACBL Accredited Teacher and Club Director, holding a rank of a Silver Life Master (SLM), and consistently placing in tournaments and club games.
In high school, he was a successful Math tutor. Later, while in college, he taught high school Physics. Now, he shares his bridge expertise.
Tad teaches bridge players of all ages and skill levels, using his years of experience combined with the ability to convey advanced bridge in an easy to understand way. He is patient, applies Logical Thinking, discipline, and most importantly, fun, to guide his student’s decision-making process at a bridge table, to success.
He works with individual players, small groups and large classes offering short term and longer multi-week courses. Tad can also provide single-topic sessions, one-on-one meetings, on-demand classes and general bridge discussions. In addition, he is available for club or tournament play including “post-mortem” analysis and commentary.
For advanced players, Tad offers lessons to:
• improve their defense and declarer’s play
• help mastering conventions they use
• add and adopt new conventions
• create a bidding system for a budding partnership.
If you are willing to devote time on consistent basis, then you will succeed!
As with anything else, practice makes perfect. The ever evolving, complex game of bridge is an inexpensive hobby as well as a social vehicle to meet many people from all walks of life.
ENJOY and HAVE FUN!!!
