I believe that the most important part of learning and instrument is developing a love and appreciation for the art, and my main goal as a teacher is to teach more than notes and rhythms. I taught private lessons in Brevard County for three years, and have taught at summer music camps, such as the BSYO Summer Orchestra Program. I am also a freelance musician, and have experience working in quartets and musical pits on multiple instruments. I am currently a Music Performance major at UCF, and plan on pursuing Ethnomusicology. I have taught students from children to adults, beginners to those with more experience, and I have found that my preferred teaching method is to institute a solid foundation in music theory and ear training, and personalize all of my lessons to fit the particular needs of the students. I will come to you for lessons (I have Friday spots available if you would like to come to me instead) so you don't even have to leave your house! Music is a very important part of my life, and there is nothing I love more than sharing my knowledge and inspiring an appreciation of classical music.
