- Levels Taught:
There is a lot to learn when it comes to singing. Such as ear training, scales (major, minor, chromatic etc.), call-and-response, rhythm, melodies etc. There is also the anatomy, and techniques such breathing, posture etc. Also, while you are singing, its very important to feel the emotions, to achieve that, you will realize that acting and singing go along well together.
One thing about me is that, being a Music Therapy major, I give my heart and importance to the clients/students, I help them achieve their goals and needs.
With me, you will learn, achieve as well as build a rapport.

- Teaching since:
Hello! I am Swara! I recently graduated from Berklee College of Music, with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy. I have been singing since the age 3. I have been told that even before I could speak, I could sing. I have been exposed to various kinds of music. I started with some basics of Carnatic music, then I moved to learning Hindustani music. After moving to Shanghai, I got exposed to Bollywood and Contemporary styles of music.
I first studied Foundation of Music in KM Music Conservatory, owned by the Oscar winner Music director A.R Rahman. I had learnt Hindustani and Western Classical music. After finishing that, I moved to Kuala Lumpur to study Berklee Transfer Programme at the International College of Music (ICOM), where I primarily learnt Contemporary music. Then I finally moved to Boston to study at my dream place, Berklee College of Music. I got exposed to various kinds of styles and genres. I have been a member of the Berklee Indian Ensemble and "The Lotus Sound", a circle singing group.
Being a Music Therapy major, I have worked with clients on their goals and needs. My mother was a Carnatic music teacher. I have assisted her many times. I hope to make a difference in my students' life.
