I had studied math intensively during my grade school years under Korean education system as an honor student. Those experience helped me to get very solid foundation and strong understanding of math concepts. I went to one of the most selective engineering schools in Korea. Studying math there helped me to get the whole picture of math curriculum and understand how mathematical knowledge is applied in the real world. In addition to my experience of tutoring students math in Korea, I accumulated experience of teaching math here in US. from elementary, critical thinking math, SSAT, SAT, to high school math. I also studied growth mindset which will lead struggling students to success and I studied learning mechanism that provided me with learning strategies. With strong foundation of math concepts, understanding of application, actual tutoring experience, understanding of mindset for success, and strategies for effective learning, I feel that I am ready to help students more than ever.
