Steven has worked for 50 years as a professional musician, music director, music producer, audio engineer, accompanist, arranger, and project manager for independent artists, schools, and churches since 1971.
He studied Classical Guitar, Lute, and Electronic Music at Humboldt State University, College of the Redwoods, and The Evergreen State College, where he obtained his degree in Music in 1984.
He toured professionally from 1971-1982, opening for performers such as Mose Allison and Della Reese, and has performed and taught music his entire life.
His instruments include Classical, Acoustic and Jazz Guitar, Lute, Mandolin, Dobro, Bass, and Banjo. He has extensive experience with electronic music and audio production.
Steven founded and currently manages a nationwide group of 30,000+ audio professionals (Music & Audio Professionals on LinkedIn).
His credits include the album "The Forgetting", “Old California”, “Gaudete" for Saint James School, and "Saint James School at Princeton University".
Music instructor at Black Cat Music in Berkeley Springs, WV. Also work with the Black Cat Music Cooperative for music outreach programs in the area public schools.
Certified to teach in public schools in Music and English.
