After majoring in music at College of Dupage in Glen EllynI went to study at the Percussion Institute of Technology (P.I.T.) at Musician's Institute in Los Angeles, CA from 2001-2002. One of my 15 year old students has graced the stage with Chicago Blues legend Buddy Guy and another 15 year old student has auditioned for the national School of Rock band and made to the second round (third round is pending). Two songs as a co-writer landed a synchronization license to independent films titled ‘Curveball’ and ‘Who Gets the Dog’, starring actress Alicia Silverstone. With local, regional, national, and international touring experience, Steve was featured in an exclusive interview for ‘Online Drummer’ in August of 2011 sharing my knowledge and experience of music and drums. My son has a great student–teacher relationship. It takes the right teacher to help enjoy learning while challenging him to improve with each lesson and not to short any song. Steve's online sound experience has really impressed us.

I played an organ years ago ( I am 70 years old) and lost a lot of skills. I now have a digital piano, but I was not satisfied with my progress. So I signed up for lessons with Steve. I took piano lessons from Steve for about 18 months. I moved about an hour away, so it was not practical to continue with him. The lessons from Steve were exactly what I was looking for. He figured out my skill level and set up a plan for me. He stressed the fundamentals while teaching a song at the same time. Being able to play a song, even a simple one, was a great reward. Then we progressed to develop more skills and more interesting songs. Steve is patient, attentive and a good coach. He genuinely loves teaching and finds that “spark” in to build on. I saw this many times as I would listen to him teaching the student before me. Steve is a great teacher and I strongly recommend him.

Steve is a great instructor and took the time to work through any challenges and helped our son grow as a drummer. He has a great virtual setup that makes it sound you are in the studio with him.
