Steve started tutoring our child on the upright bass when our kid was 9. Our child picked the bass when he joined the school orchestra. We started with in-person lessons, then switched to remote, when the lockdown changed everyone's lives. Steve is a reliable, patient teacher with a great musical ear and advanced skills. His tutoring made a big difference for our kid, who was quickly able to rank high in the school orchestra. Highly recommended.

Steve is a great teacher. He is knowledgeable and friendly, which provides a great learning environment. My only regret is not taking lessons sooner.

Steve is a total pro. He knows electric and acoustic bass backwards and forwards. Reading, theory, playing technique... he does it all with grace and charm... and he's a great guy!!! Can't say enough good things about him. He will take you wherever you want your bass journey to go.
