Hello and welcome to my Guitar Lesson Profile page! Take a moment to look around. I would offer you a cup of coffee, but at the time of this writing, it is impossible to email a cup of coffee. So here' s a little bit about my services. I'll keep it short since you don't have any coffee to drink. I am a private guitar instructor in Nashville, Tennessee. I specialize in teaching popular music to kids, teens, and adults. I can also teach songwriting basics, composition basics, and home recording lessons. Lessons are completely customizable and the only curriculum I use is what you want to learn! For those of you who may live in Brentwood or Franklin, I also teach lessons in your area. My experience with Steve has been great, he is wonderfully attentive and intuitive with our daughter who is a beginner with learning to play guitar. She is always excited for him to come teach her and beams with confidence after each lesson. I appreciate his timely communications with me for any questions or rescheduling needed. He lets my husband and I know how to support her with certain skills and practicing etc. His demeanor and personality is both professional and also very fun and engaging. He's always encouraging our daughter to keep practicing and most of all, enjoying learning guitar! Highly recommend...

Both of my sons have taken lessons from Steve for the past three years. He not only helps sharpen their skills on the acoustic guitar, but has helped my younger son gain confidence and technique as a budding songwriter. He also spends time with my older son teaching him about recording technology. Steve is trained in many of the different areas of music that my sons are interested in and they look forward to his weekly visits. He interacts with them on their level and makes each lesson challenging and fun. We highly recommend Steve to students of all ages interested in learning more about music!

Steve does a great job with both myself and also with my 10 year old daughter (who struggles practicing). I love the ability to practice and play songs that I choose. I also like that Steve has a very easygoing demeanor in lessons so he keeps everything loose, especially when you're struggling as a new guitarist.
