Steve started working with my daughter when she was 4 years old. She's a precocious little thing who has expressed an interest in performing since the moment she could speak; but as any parent knows, a child's mood and interest changes with the wind. Steve, as a parent himself, understood this and took every moment in stride. He is unflappable. His ability to get down on her level and speak in a language she understood helped not only bring her confidence, but also direction to the song and scene. It was truly phenomenal to watch. He also understands that there is only so much a four year old can grasp, and works within those parameters so that she can still grow and stand out when she auditions. He worked to make her comfortable in this acting "world" and, honestly, helped me become more comfortable putting her in that world. I truly can't imagine anyone else working with her this well. If you, too, have a passionate and dramatic little one, but don't know how to make her stand out amongst the others - you've found your coach.

Steve is a rare find. I've worked with many coaches over the years and he is, hands down, the VERY best. First off, his foundational background speaks for itself. But more importantly, he has a unique and individualized approach to each actor. He does not paint in broad strokes. In my studio work, I found certain aspects to be missing as it was mostly either a review of what I was already taught, or I was lumped together with actors that had different needs than my own. Steve filled that void for me and zeroed in on my challenges. If you are looking to refine and expand your technique and transform beyond your limitations, organically with truth, Steve will deliver. He continues to prep me for auditions, has helped tremendously with text analysis (specifically Shakespearean), character development, spontaneity and impulse, and my overall expressiveness. He is a straight shooter, ridiculously intelligent and has an A+ reputation. He has given me the tools to overcome my individual roadblocks that has, in turn, made me more marketable in my own career path. If you want a results oriented coach, that is currently working in the industry, who can "get you there" look no further. Steve is my go-to coach. And he's a stand up guy, as well.

Steve is singular in his ability to help individuals grow. His guidance, his words, his examples, all provided the greatest stimulus for my evolution as a human being, and consequently, as an actor. His knowledge of the business is unparalleled and invaluable, and his lessons on finding truth and making choices are brilliant. On the other side of working with him is a world where a script feels like simple words that you're supposed to say, with no need to worry about how because he's given you the tools. I highly, highly recommend spending some time with him. One of the best and most productive decisions I've ever made.
