I have taken lessons with Stephany for over a year, and it's been just what I was looking for. I've been singing recreationally for years but had never received any formal instruction. Stephany's guidance has equipped me to sing in a more mindful, healthy, and skillful way. Stephany has been great about meeting me where I'm at and cultivating a consistently positive learning environment.

Stephany does a great job of doing explaining and demonstrating how to achieve certain results with singing. She is able to describe the step by step technique for singing certain notes or achieving a certain tone quality or moving between registers. I feel that I have been able to make a lot progress in a relatively short length of time.

Soprano Stephany Svorinić is a focused, imaginative, dramatic performer who teaches with forthrightness and perceptive care for the individual student’s needs. In addition to having created her own private music studio teaching children ages 5-10 singing, beginner piano, music theory, and songwriting, she has guided adults equally effectively and holds advanced degrees in classical vocal performance, music composition, and communications. Stephany is one of the most versatile and comprehensively skilled musicians I have taught, and as a current degree candidate for the Master of Arts in music composition at Tufts University, she is distinguishing herself with cutting-edge work. Her prizewinning original compositions traverse acoustic and electronic media, and include opera, solo song, and instrumental pieces. An expert communicator and complete musician wholly comfortable with repertory running the gamut from medieval to the most contemporary styles, Stephany is also an Equity actor and member of the Screen Actors' Guild and Federation of Television and Radio Artists. From Stephany Svorinić, you will receive the most informed music instruction available, given with scrupulous preparation and attention to your aspirations. I recommend her perennially innovative approach to music students at all levels!
