My husband and I run a non-profit out of our home that focuses on creative arts and sustainability education.  We provide lessons at a reduced price for children who cannot afford it, but we encourage everyone to use our services. We have a large music studio in the basement of our "facility" (our home).

Piano lessons should be fun! Not only will our lessons be engaging yet relaxed, but you will learn to play your favorite songs in no time at all. I've been playing piano and trumpet since I was in fifth grade. Over 15 years later and I still find incredible joy in playing the piano. I know you will enjoy it also, so I will help you learn all of the basic fundamentals to get you going. Starting with simple songs, we will gradually build up to reading music and learning dynamics.

Hi, there! My name is Stephanie, and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2014 and have loved helping my students develop new skills, be more creative, and gain more confidence overall. I went to Wayne State College and earned a degree in Foods and Nutrition in 2011. In addition, I have been playing music since I was in 5th grade. Participating in my high school marching band was such a joyful experience for me that I want to help spread the love for music.  I'm a patient and dependable person and my teaching style is fun, relaxed, and personable. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

Stephanie is an excellent teacher! She ensures her students are comfortable, and learn at their own pace. She works hard to cater lessons to each individual student. She is great with both kids and adults. Highly recommend.
