I earned my Theater and Dance degree from Chapman University in 1998, and moved to New York City where I spent 10 years pursuing a performing arts career, both in theater and as a singer/songwriter. I found minor professional success as a recording artist and studio musician, and performed in numerous off-off Broadway theater productions while teaching theater and dance to children at the Bronx Community Center and also private voice lessons in the recording studio.
Since becoming a mother I have been giving voice lessons from my home. I have had 3 of my voice students audition for X Factor and The Voice. I love to pass on what I know and what I've learned to the next generation of artists and performers.
*** Lesson Details ***
My teaching style is fun and energetic, lots of positive reinforcement but also high expectations to do your best and be disciplined, especially when it comes to practicing at home. The only way to really learn is to do it!
Each lesson we will warm up, review technique and work on your current song or scene. Ideally you will build up a repertoire of material you have mastered and can perform.
After 3 to 6 months with me, you should be able to perform or audition with complete confidence and skills that will blow them away!

Very good teacher and I’m learning a lot
Stephanie makes our 10-year old daughter feel so comfortable. She actually loves learning more about singing and the few techniques she has learned has helped her immensely! Gianna does not worry about singing in a microphone or in front of people as much. She's so into it that she's singing and whistling more and more around the house! It's well worth the drive.+ Read More
Stephanie is an amazing teacher!
In just a few lessons, Stephanie has taught Cassi so much about singing. She's knowledgable, encouraging, approachable and energetic. I'd recommend Stephanie to anyone!
Great vocal teacher, knowledgable and knows how to teach
I drive all the way across town to go to Stephanie, she is really one of the best out there. She really cares and knows what to do to help you reach your goals whatever they may be. Highly recommend!
Stephanie is a great teacher!
My son is taking singing lessons with Stephanie.
Her patience when explaining technique and showing my son various techniques to improve his voice range is amazing.
She has taught him some great skills that he can use always.
My son's confidence with his voice and its capabilities have increased immensely. He is singing in a band, that previously he played guitar in, but was not confident in his voice to let the other band members hear him. Since starting lessons with Stephanie, he has become the lead and has no problem singing in front of anyone.
I recommend Stephanie very highly.
