Biology with Stephanie D.

I’m looking to teaching students in the Greater Lansing area. I have a unique background both in science and art. I’m offering lessons in biology, microbiology, watercolor painting and calligraphy/ hand lettering. I’ve had a wonderful laboratory career in Research Microbiology and Forensic DNA. I’ve got lots of good stories about crime scenes and interesting evidence over the years! I’ve “retired early” to start my other passion, my own art business- Steph Day Designs, where I practice watercolor, gouache, calligraphy, and digital lettering and illustration. I teach watercolor 3 days a week, calligraphy 1 day a week, and microbiology tutoring 2-3 days a week. While growing my new business in art, I am actively seeking out biology tutoring opportunities each semester so I am still getting to have a balance of both science and art in my life.
