I'm a Brooklyn based designer. I grew up in Shenzhen, China and had traveled all around China. I’m passionate about Chinese philosophy, poetry, film, literature, food, and diverse culture. 

Mandarin is my first language. Learning English and Spanish as my second and third language, I’m very familiar with the process and keys to mastering a new language. I like to approach language from a cultural perspective. Instead of telling you what is grammatically correct and what is wrong, I like to show you why words are spoken the way they are. Chinese is fun; it is poetic, and it makes a lot of sense.

I have experience in tutoring Chinese, translating Chinese, and subtitling for TEDTalks.
