Flute with Stephanie A.

I am a professional flutist and am the owner of a lovely Suzuki Flute studio in St Petersburg, Florida. I am also a certified Music Together® teacher, an internationally recognized early childhood music and movement program for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. I love creating rich musical experiences for young children and working with parents to understand and enhance their child's innate musicality and budding music development. I received a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance from the West Chester University School of Music in Pennsylvania. I have performed in numerous orchestras, wind ensembles, chamber groups and even studied Baroque Flute. I have received 3 Levels of Suzuki Flute Teacher training, working with some of the most highly recognized teachers in the country. My teaching career started at Flute & Friends Suzuki Music Academy in Philadelphia where I taught children age 3 through high school. I love to create highly personalized lessons incorporating each student's interests, personality, and learning style. My continued work in early childhood music has inspired a creative, play-based approach to music learning that is engaging and meaningful for each child.
