About Stella K.

I specialize in MFA/BA acting school auditions. Standing in front of a panel of strangers and opening yourself up in a monologue is not exactly a joy ride. I have techniques that will make it possible to relax and maybe even enjoy your pieces in this superficial setting.
My lessons are a combination of voice, movement (Alexander technique), and text work. Being fully free to play, means your voice and body are fully free. I give technique work that will relax and loosen you within the lesson itself, and within the audition so that on the day you are grounded, level, and ready.
I recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, and I remember the stress, the excitement, and the process of auditioning well. I would love to pass on techniques that I learned at RADA that help to not only be calm, but also to enjoy each audition.
If you have any questions for me, I would be happy to chat with you over a tea/coffee before booking your first lesson with me.

Teacher's studio
Stella is a wonderful tutor; she has helped me with audition prep multiple times, and after each session I come away feeling confident, well-informed and prepared for anything! She is hugely creative & intelligent, and makes you think in new ways that create interesting character choices and bring out the best in your work. Highly recommended, thank you Stella!

The freedom to fully embody a character comes from a place of being both grounded and open. Using various techniques and games I work with my students on agility in body and voice. I work alongside the director on the main stage high school production.
