I am a Seattle-based singer and voice teacher currently accepting new students of all levels! I am a classically trained soprano and have learned from a solid, healthy technique for many years. I would like to share this with you and help you to become a better, healthier and happier singer! This technique works for any singing style to assist you in keeping the voice fresh and healthy for many years. My lessons address breath support, proper alignment, personal expression and more. I have a sensitive, positive teaching style and I will work with you very patiently and supportively. I have found so much joy from free, healthy singing and it is my goal to help you experience this same joy in your musical journey. I have been performing for over 20 years and have experience singing for many different opera companies and choirs, soloing at churches and restaurants, and currently sing in a local band. Have you seen the recent article about Adele (and many other artists) continuously losing her voice and needing vocal surgery? This is due to bad technique! So many teachers and producers out there are teaching with poor technique and only care about sound, not the health of the voice. It is finally coming to light that this is not a sustainable way to treat the voice. I have been fortunate enough to have been trained with healthy vocal technique that is very free, natural and beautiful (not "produced") and I would love to share it with you!
