    Stanford F, has a national reputation as a bass-baritone singing classical and musical theater. As a master voice teacher, he is also the author of the well-known book on vocal technique, "Beautiful Singing: A Singer's Guide to Improving the Voice". He has been on the voice faculty at the University of Minnesota, Emporia State University (KS), and Texas A&M University, Kingsville, TX. He's been teaching private voice lessons since 1998, previously in New York City and Emporia, KS, and then in the Twin Cities area since 2011. Stan's voice studio is in his home outside of Farmington, MN just south of St. Paul, MN. Dr. F. works with all voice types and teaches all styles from beginning to professional. He enjoys watching his students grow stronger every week as they reach to obtain their optimum vocal range and brilliance of sound. Please contact him today! Bio: Stanford F. was previously on the voice faculty at the University of Minnesota where he taught applied voice lessons, language diction, and vocal pedagogy. He teaches voice in his home studio, and online to students around the world. He is the former Founder and Executive/Artistic Director of Minnesota Concert Opera, based in Minneapolis, MN. Having earned his B.F.A. in Theater and Voice from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS, Dr. F. based his singing career in New York City for twelve years, received his M.M. in Voice Performance from the Manhattan School of Music in New York, was on the Voice Faculty of Texas A & M University, Kingsville where he ran the opera department for two years, and then returned to Lawrence, KS to get his D.M.A. in Voice Performance. He was then Assistant Professor of Voice at Emporia State University in Emporia, KS for five years. While in Kansas, he was the founder and Executive Director of Kansas Concert Opera. He returned to the Twin Cities in 2011 and lives with his wife, Antonia, two cats, and three dogs on ten acres just south of St. Paul, MN.
