I am a professional singer and pianist with degrees from the Eastman School of Music. I have taught piano and voice privately for many years and have served on the music faculties of the Aspen Music Festival, AIMS, Southwestern Seminary and Union University. I love working with young singers and helping them discover their talent. With an understanding of proper breath control and vocal placement the voice can develop quickly in size, range and quality. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a student's passion and creativity blossom through their instrument! Piano training is essential for any serious musician. Developing keyboard skills is fun and rewarding, and also lays the groundwork for music theory, ear training and note reading. Young students can learn the basics very quickly but a person of any age with an interest in music can master the skills with practice. I take great joy in guiding every new student through the process!
