I have known Dr. Stanleigh Jones to be an outstanding organist and performer; but it has also been my privilege to know him as an exceptional instructor as well. The profoundness of his knowledge as a performer and instructor blended with his communication skills to explain, are distinctive attributes I greatly admire of him. I’ve been a student of Dr. Jones for nearly five years now and for me, the most outstanding quality that have motivated me and kept me this long is his patience and understanding. Anyone can find a great performer, but finding a great instructor is not always easy. With Dr. Jones, I am blessed to have found both!

Stan Jones is an amazing organist, composer, arranger, orchestrater , and teacher! He taught me to appreciate organ music. I used to think that Bach's music was glorified finger exercises, until Stan Jones helped me to see the musically expressive side of Bach's music. Now I enjoy playing the music of Bach. Stan Jones is a very gifted teacher!

I have tried piano lessons many times through the years, and the other experiences did not work too well. I am so glad to have such an excellent teacher like Stan. He is patient and encouraging. Those qualities are hard to find in a teacher of his caliber. I started with 2 degrees in Voice Performance, but didn't have the same level of piano skills. Stan can take you from any level, and take you to the next. I certainly recommend Stan as a teacher.
