For the past 10 years, retired Graphic Designer and Production Artist Stacy has been teaching students privately and in group classes how to use the graphic design software programs Adobe Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, and programming languages HTML and CSS. More importantly, Stacy has also been assisting and guiding college students with their graphic and website design projects. Stacy has always been a teacher at heart as she was continuously educating her design clients on how the printing process works and the importance of knowing where your website will be hosted so it will look and function properly on the Web. She has the ability to take something very foreign and complicated to a design student, such as struggling to learn the software or understand how to complete their design project, and break it down into easily digestible pieces. Stacy has helped numerous design students that were failing their design class pass it with an A, and also received great feedback. Throughout her 20+ years in the design industry, Stacy worked in the Cincinnati, OH and Los Angeles, CA markets for a variety of companies. Her impressive client list includes: Belkin, Disney, Fifth Third Bancorp, Mercedes, Porsche, RadNet, The NBC Agency/NBCUniversal, U.C.L.A., and others including multiple printers, ad agencies, and design studios. Stacy also owned and operated her own design studio for over 12 years in Los Angeles, CA working with multiple new and small businesses helping them to create an identity for their company with both print and website materials. Stacy has extensive experience designing for both print and websites, which is a very rare combination of skills for a designer to possess. She was the most-sought out Production Artist in Los Angeles, CA working fervently to complete a client's design project on time and within budget. Her fine artist skills in drawing, painting, and photography brought another level of design and creativity to a project, and her knack for being detail-oriented was a huge asset to clients thanks to her Journalism skills from the degree she earned in college and uses in her daily operations. Stacy is a multi-talented and gifted fine artist and designer that uses her skills to help others struggling to find their way in the design world.
