Meet Stacy K B.: vocalist, guitar and piano player with over 10 years experience in the music performance business. Stacy K B. (better known as Stacy K) has been sharing her knowledge of music for years and is known for her energetic and creative approach to teaching lessons. Besides teaching, Stacy K has released two solo albums, toured the United States, written jingles, voice overs, and is backup vocalists for various artists (in studio performances and live). Please contact Stacy K for your vocal lesson (any age/level) or beginning piano and or guitar lessons! *** Lesson Details *** Stacy K offers a variety of lessons for beginners. 1. Vocal Lessons: This lesson will focus on technique, proper breathing, and vocal scales. We will then apply these practices to songs that you are familiar with for a better understanding of each lesson. 2. Guitar Lessons: This lesson is designed for beginners and will focus on learning guitar scales, the guitar fretboard, reading, technique, and chords. We will work out of technique book (will be needed for purchase if you continue on with lessons, but not needed for first few lessons). Stacy K and the student will also apply these techniques to familiar songs. 3. Piano Lessons: This lesson is designed for beginners and will focus on learning the basics of the piano. This applies to scales, technique, and theory. If student decides to continue on with lessons we will work out of different books to challenge and grow as a young piano player. 4. Songwriting Lessons: This lesson is designed for those interested in jump starting their creativity. Songwriting lessons give tips, insights, and different creative assignments to create your very own song! Students will learn about different song formulas and approach to writing great songs. *** Studio Equipment *** Stacy K owns an upright piano, acoustic guitar and utilizes garage band to record students. *** Travel Equipment *** None. Can provide own resources. *** Specialties *** I specialize in teaching beginners voice, piano, and guitar. Genres applied to teaching is popular music from the 50's through today. I also incorporate Alexander Technique in warmups for all lessons I teach.
