Hi there! I'm an Historical Performance Practice specialist and vocal technician. I specialize in troubleshooting issues of style and vocal technique. I work in an all-vocal way to build your understanding and confidence. I'm available for lessons or coachings for individuals or small groups at your location. I trained in opera in New York City and have been performing since the 80s. I recently earned a DMA fin Early Music Vocal Performance from the University of Southern California, with a minor in vocal pedagogy and historical vocal pedagogy.
I look forward to helping you with vocal style of early repertoire and the vocal issues that may arise when tackling historical genres: straight-tone, pin-point pitch, enunciation, pronuciation, phrasing, ornamentation, improvisation, trills, and other.
I'm on Linked-In and my website is www.staceyhelley.com
