I am an experienced and patient reading tutor certified in Reading Intervention K-12. I specialize in providing hands on engaging lessons both online and in person one-to-one tutoring. I help students who desire an academic challenge, those struggling and those in between. I use a variety of research based methods and strategies such as Jan Richardson intervention to increase fluency, comprehension, grade level reading and phonemic awareness. I am results oriented with a proven track record of student growth. I believe comprehension and phonics are key components to reading success and tutor in those areas of reading, as well as writing. I am dedicated to providing a well balanced and supportive learning environment for all students. It is my passion to help you and your child/ students achieve reading success.
