With a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance on guitar, 10 years of teaching experience, 5 years of touring and recording experience that includes national TV performances and international performances, as well as a full recording/rehearsal studio at my residence, I am equipped to get you started on the journey of being a life long musician. Lessons with me are fun in nature, serious with their goals, and focus on developing strong fundamentals of guitar technique and music theory through learning songs that speak to you, the student, and your passion for music. I believe you should be allowed and encouraged to study the style of music you love first. From there, the possibilities are endless. "You feel it first, then you learn how to do it." *** Travel Equipment *** I can provide a small practice amp if need be along with guitar cables. I require that students have their own guitar so that they can practice. Without it, it's almost impossible to move forward.
