Hello, and welcome to my page! I am a unique private music lessons teacher for various reasons.

1) I do not play just one instrument, but five! I have the most experience with the violin and have played it for 19 years. While I pursued my two music-related degrees, I picked up four other instruments along the way: guitar, piano, voice, and ukulele.

2) I am a board-certified music therapist since 2018, and I have had experience teaching students with special needs both in private and in group settings. With this background, I often bring a focus on a student's mental and emotional well-being as well as their growth in their musicianship, and I am able to adapt my lesson structure and curriculum based on the student's interests, abilities, and needs.

3) I often strive to bring joy into my lessons with my students and make it fun for them as well as educational - from arranging a student's favorite song or piece for their instrument and skill level to even taking a moment to be creative, silly, and/or playful with our music before returning our focus back on the music.

I've taught students of various ages and abilities for three years, and I am excited to continue my teaching here. I look forward to hearing from you!
