Opportunity Music Project

At Opportunity Music Project, I coach violin students once a week on thei technique, repertoire and orchestra music. In our coachings we practice together, I share helpful practice tips nd answer any questions the student has.

Art Strollers Academy

At Art Strollers, I teach a group violin beginner class called Violin Virtuosos. The class meets for 30 mins once a week and focuses on the basics, including music reading and aural skills.

The Juilliard School

As a Morse Fellow, Sophia teaches group violin lessons twice a week to 5th graders at a public school in Harlem.

New England Conservatory Preparatory School

At NEC Prep, Sophia was an orchestral student manager, senior orchestral coach, chamber music coach, mentor and adjudicator for four years. She worked closely with conductors David Loebel and Marta Zurad, teaching and coaching students ages 7 to 18.
