    About Sophia E.

    I bring over 20 years experience in the world of fashion design, education and journalism to the studio and virtual classroom. I moved to Paris, and continued a career in specialty design & fashion journalism. Building a clientele base as a French trade professional attending haute couture and industry shows. I returned to the US to educate fashionistas as a Fashion program chair/faculty, as well as a fashion journalist, writing fashion features for newspapers such as The Tampa Tribune and Daytona News Journal. I was a fashion expert for the FOX network affiliate in Tampa, Fl. Along with a BFA in fashion design, I hold an MEd degree in Instructional Technology and completing a Doctorate in Education, specializing in Teaching and Learning. Currently an adjunct instructor for Art Institutes teaching courses: Intro to Intermediate Fashion Design courses, Fashion Illustration, Fashion History,Fashion Show/Event Planning and Fashion journalism. Will tailor instruction to your needs!
