For me, piano is not just a hobby - it is truly a passion. I believe in the power of music to provide a comprehensive and multi-dimensional education for children. From mathematics to literature, learning to read and play the piano can be hugely beneficial for personal development and growth in several areas. 

I have been playing the piano for over 25 years - a classically trained pianist, I remember the joy of learning to play with wonderful, enthusiastic teachers. I bring that enthusiasm and passion to the classroom, and can't wait to play the piano with you!

Hi everyone! My name is Soma, and I have been playing the piano for over 25 years. I have been teaching beginners and intermediates for over 10 years with a high rate of success. 

I am a classically trained pianist, with numerous awards and achievements, including being part of the National Guild of Pianists. I bring enthusiasm and passion to teaching piano, and cannot wait to get started with our lessons!

My son took lessons with Soma in New York City - she was awesome! Dedicated and precise, she took the time to ensure my son had a solid foundation before moving on to funner piano pieces. Excellent experience!
