Violin with Skye E.

I am an energetic and passionate teacher. I am dedicated to both the music and to my students. I might be young but I have a lot of experience. I have played piano since I was six, violin since I was eleven, and have since picked up the viola, fiddle, ukulele, and a little bit of guitar and cello. I had my first student in 2018. In high school I was part of the school orchestra and even gained an exception to join the elite chamber orchestra at my school before I was technically eligible because of my talent. Currently I am attending a Baptist university seeking a psychology major. I am an honors student. I am able to attend because I got a scholarship on the violin. I play in the university's chamber orchestra as both a violinist and a violist, depending on what they need. I also take lessons from one of the teachers there. Seeing as how I am younger, I am one of the least expensive teachers, but I am also going to be one of the most dedicated to my students because I remember what it is like to just be starting out on my journey in music. I'll teach you how to play with feeling in a style unique to you. I can help you also learn to play in all genres of music, from baroque to bluegrass. I'll also be able to teach you music theory so that you have a greater understanding of what you are playing.
