I started playing violin when I was three and a half years old, and was trained through the Suzuki School for the first 10 years of my training. I also studied with three members of the national symphony orchestra, and attended the Interlochen Arts Academy.

In addition to my classical background, I have also been playing and singing in a wide variety of local bands for over ten years, including rock, pop, hip hop, Irish, Americana, and others.

I enjoy integrating classical techniques along with helping students learn arrangements of their favorite songs, and if they are interested, love to help them come up with their own parts as well!

In addition to 10 years of private lesson training and orchestra performance, I also have over 10 years of experience as a rock violinist! :)

I enjoy teaching students who love to learn, and highly the value time and energy it takes to dedicate oneself to a creative pursuit such as music. 

The friendships and relationships developed with my students are one of the joys of teaching, and my greatest gift is received from giving back to those who truly want to learn.
