I got a master's degree in Public Administration. My bachelor's degree is in Chinese Language and Literature in China.I Hold a Teaching Certificate for K-12 in China.I am working on getting a Teaching Certificate in Iowa.I speak standard Mandarin Chinese.In the Test of Putonghua (Mandarin Chinese) Proficiency Level which is administered by the Chinese government, I scored First class- second level.

As a private tutor, I have instructed students from pre-school to high school level. As a Chinese teacher, I've taught 8th graders in China.I have also been a Chinese teaching assistant,conducting weekly Chinese practice lab sessions for a year in Drake University. I love the Chinese language and I also love to share my knowledge of the Chinese language and culture with others.

A great Teacher! Her lesson plans are more in depth than any class I’ve had in the past. Along with basic Mandarin I’m learning the cultural exchange which improves my understanding of the language.  She is also very punctual and reliable which is something I look for since I’m a very busy person. CiSong is a nice and confronting person which makes practicing speaking Mandarin less stressful. I definitely recommend CiSong as a teacher and I think she works well with all age groups.
