I have been playing clarinet since I was 10 years old. Throughout elementary, middle, and high school, I played with the El Camino Youth Symphony, the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, as well as numerous All-State and honor bands around the state. I completed my Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Michigan studying with Daniel Gilbert, former clarinetist of the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra. During my time at Michigan I was a member of the University Symphony Orchestra and Symphony band and performed under conductors Kenneth Kiesler and Michael Haithcock. I am currently studying with Helen Goode-Castro at California State Long Beach, pursuing a Masters in Music. I have recently been playing with the La Mirada Symphony Orchestra in addition to my school ensembles. I enjoy teaching the clarinet and helping others achieve their musical goals, whatever that might be. I look forward to meeting any clarinet player looking to improve their skills.+ Read More
