ConfiDance Fitness was created by as a way for non-dancers to explore dance classes in a non-competitive environment while gaining self confidence and learning concepts of body positivity. Learn to love yourself just the way you are and leave class feeling empowered!

I've been teaching dance for 5 years and my students have gone on to develop a deep live for dance, build confidence, perform publicly,  and I've even had a few make professional dance teams. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to retain choreography and as time goes on you'll be able to guage rhythm and move comfortably. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

Shonna began training privately in 2011 and has over 17 years of dance training in the areas of tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop.  Her resume includes appearances with two different NBA franchises, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors. She has also worked with the NFL Superbowl Committee as a dancer & choreographer for events during Superbowl XXVIII & Superbowl 50. Since moving to California in 2012, she started ConfiDance Fitness and ConfiDance Kids.  She is currently providing enrichment classes in several Bay Area schools and adult class

Shonna is one of the best dance instructors I have ever had the pleasure of learning from.  Her choreography is so incredibly fierce and always gets me out of my comfort zone.  The hour with her flies by because I'm having too much fun and before I know it, I'm super sweaty from the great workout.  Shonna has given me the biggest confidence booster and made me a fierce and fabulous woman.
