Photography with Sherry H.

Hi! My name is Sherry. I hold a BFA in Photography from Pratt Institute. I've been teaching since I was still in middle school, working as a counselor at computer and arts camps, and have worked as an intern, assistant teaching in a private middle/high school. I freelance as a photographer and assistant, doing my own music photography and digital art on the side. I also work part time as a product photographer for a costume jewelry supply company. I have had photographs in Guitar World, Redbook, Good Housekeeping, Woman's Day, mental_floss, Great Big Story, CNN, and Photos of Norway, among others. I love working with people of all ages. I am thoroughly learned in film media, but also have a passion for digital techniques. I've been shooting traditionally for 17 years, and using Photoshop for 13. I find it important to connect with my students to figure out what the different arts can do for them, and find interesting ways and assignments to teach them while utilizing their interests.
