Ms. Grant has been teaching private lessons since 2012 and is currently available to teach lessons at her selected location in Buffalo, NY and online. Ms. Grant has helped students to pass the NYS English Regents exam, along with a variety of other tests needed to successfully complete high school, and obtain a diploma. She has also taught college creative writing classes, where she assists and guides her students into a world of exploration where they discover more about themselves as a writer and storyteller. She currently teaches within the Buffalo community, grades K-12, while she completes her M.A. Degree in English. Throughout her academic career, she has focused on working towards publishing, and attends literary conferences where she shares her research on postcolonial effects on language. She also teaches at a community school, where her course "Survey of Literature from the African Diaspora" connects to the community to foster open and intellectual discussions with the Buffalo community on issues faced daily.
Ms. Grant received her training in 2015, where she obtained a B.A. degree in English and a Post-Bacc certification degree in English 7-12. As an expert in her field, Ms. Grant is passionate about helping new students achieve their goals. Ms. Grant's teaching style is fun, engaging, and open, and she enjoys learning and growing with her students.
