Vocal Training with Shelly E.

I am Shelly and I am a vocalist and voice instructor. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music with a Bachelors in Vocal Performance and received my Master of the Arts in Opera Performance from California State University, Long Beach, CA. I teach privately in the Long Beach area and surrounding cities. I am also a Vocal Coach for Love and Laughter Music Group located in Anaheim, CA. I currently teach 20 students whose vocal abilities range from beginner to professional. My formal education and experience singing in professional ensembles such as the Los Angeles Master Choral affords me the ability to help students become mindful singers. In my lessons we will discuss your personal goals and I will cater your lessons so they center around your goals. I will also address any technical areas that we need to build upon. In my teaching I believe that what you think and feel determines how you sing. I try to infuse positive affirmation and a safe environment for you to freely explore your personal sound. I enjoy helping students find freedom in making healthy and beautiful sounds. I regularly teach: Pop, Classical, Musical Theater, R&B, and Traditional. Looking forward to working with you!
