I am a life long learner full of energy and passion for education. Before graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia, I volunteered in multiple middle schools to tutor students who needed help in a range of subjects. I also spent my spare time privately tutoring fellow college students in writing and reading comprehension. I have one full year of teaching experience in the K-8 classroom where I have helped students with special needs and high achieving students alike meet their personal reading, writing, and math goals. I’ve provided special attention to high schoolers looking to improve their writing for advanced classes as well as standardized testing. Parents, collegues, and principals have witnessed me be a queen of all trades who genuinely enjoys teaching people of all ages. I make sure my lessons deliver content efficiently while ensuring an enjoyable and engaging atmosphere for the both of us.
