My son, who is 14yr, loved working with Shelbey, as his saxophone teacher. He played in the middle school band and needed a private teacher. Shelbey inspired him with her warm enthusiasm and incredible knowledge. She was able to help him learn to play this challenging instrument, even though he wore braces and would struggle to make clear sounds. Shelbey’s technical knowledge of the saxophone was so impressive and really helped my son improve. During my son’s performance at the school, it was clear that he had the edge over the other students, as his sound was beautiful. We appreciated that Shelbey would take time to get to know our son and care for him as a person. Shelbey is an amazing teacher, we love her!!
