More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. I taught first graders and kindergarteners two hours a week for two years. I unfortunately had to quit this volunteer position because my schedule for high school basketball conflicted with it.

Peer Mentoring is a program in which students at my high school volunteer their free time to work with students enrolled in classes within the special education department. I am currently the president of this club, and I volunteer with them on a daily basis.

Each student has a unique learning path and unique interests when it comes to taking piano lessons. I try my best to cater to that individuality by allowing each of my students to learn songs and complete exercises in other genres; however, one thing I keep constant for my students is ear-training and note recognition-- something that has taken me far as a pianist and is necessary for any budding musician. I also specialize in jazz and blues piano teaching, as I generally identify as a jazz pianist first and foremost!

I am a senior in high school and have my own set of piano clients around the Chicagoland area, and I decided it's time to expand my business to the Web! I am one of four kids and have always been surrounded by people who love music and love sharing music:). My interests outside piano include travelling, speaking Spanish, photography, guitar, and journalism. I plan on attending college in the fall of 2019:)!
