    My name is Shaylin Montgomery. I teach sophomore English at Clearwater High School. I also teach Film/Literature, Speech/Drama, and College Writing. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Education with a Master’s in Professional Writing, both from Southeast Missouri State University. I have spent time at the Dairy Hollow Writers Colony in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I enjoy attending several conferences, including the annual conference for the Midwest Popular Culture Association as well as the local All Write Now! Conference. My poetry and short fiction have appeared in such venues as Journey Magazine and The Mighty River Rose Anthology.

    Mrs. Montgomery is my favorite teacher. I had her all 4 years of high school. For multiple classes, it wouldn’t have been the same without her. I love her.
