After graduating from Brown University in 2012, Shawn has been teaching private lessons to students for over five years. Throughout his teaching career, Shawn crafts a specialized personal approach for each individual student that emphasizes flexibility, setting and accomplishing goals
and having fun.
Shawn currently teaches courses on a wide range of topics including American History, Government, Social Studies, Global History, Economics, Elementary Math, Algebra, Geometry and Introductory Statistics.
Shawn has experience successfully guiding students through several state level assessments including the New York State Regents exams and New Jersey’s PARCC assessments.
Shawn graduated from Brown University in 2012 with a Masters in Public Policy (M.P.P) where he specialized in spatial statistics and using data analytics to guide policy decisions. In 2010, he graduated from Nazareth College with two Bachelors of Arts degrees in American Studies and Religious Studies. Currently, Shawn is earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science.
In his spare time, Shawn loves to travel having visited six continents. When he’s not traveling, you can find him studying the Swedish language or solving the The New York Times crossword puzzle.
