    Many music teachers with whom you come in contact will try to hook you into their studio by telling you all about the great groups they have played with and how sought after they are for their various skills. Then try to make you feel that you are missing out on something special if you don’t sign up with them. That might be good for some people, but I have a different approach. I have been a piano teacher for over 30+ years. I taught in the public schools and I have worked with students of all skill levels. Rather than tell you that I can do everything, I choose to specialize. I work specifically with beginners and intermediate children through adults. I love to watch you learn your first piece and see the joy that having command of the instrument brings. You want to play songs. I want to teach you how to do that in a straight - forward, personalized way. I graduated from New Jersey City University when it was still Jersey City State College. I am a piano/voice major with a minor in instrumental music. As you know I am able to teach you online so that you are in the comfort of your own home in any of the English speaking countries of the world. I can watch you on the computer and you can watch me the same way. You don’t have to travel during this Pandemic. It makes life very convenient. Do you believe that you want to learn to play music so that you can play the piano for your own enjoyment? Do you want to learn without pressure and stress? If you answered yes, then we should meet and get to know each other better. As I have for so many others, I would like to be a part of enriching your life with music.

    Sharon ihas been a wonderful teacher for my son. She’s patient and encouraging in guiding him. This is really important with kids and their short attention spans.

    We love working with Sharon! We have 4 daughters and we have been so impressed with how easy the online process has been, how the girls have taken to not having the instructor there in person, and mostly how supportive, understanding, encouraging, and wonderful of an instructor Sharon is.
