    Discover the Performing Artist Within

I have a lifetime of experience in the performing arts as I started singing and acting professionally at the ripe old age of 6! In the past 15 years, I brought my unique knowledge of acting, theater arts and music to many students who are pursuing the performing arts at all levels. I have taught in the private, public and workshop settings…and now, online. I specialize in exploring who you are as a performing artist; audition preparation (students and professionals); acting skills; improvisation and theater games; monologue choice; and character/historical analysis. Best of all, one-on-one coaching works great for students/actors/public speaking in the digital world!

Sharon knew at a very young age that the arts were her life and doesn't remember a time when she wasn't singing, dancing and acting. She began her professional singing and acting career at the age of six years old and has performed at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. She plays the piano and is a versatile musician with a strong foundation in the classical method that really rocks!! Sharon grew up in Brooklyn, NY and has trained with some of New York City's premier voice, piano and acting teachers. Sharon majored in Theater and graduated cum laude with honors in theater. She is a certified public school theater teacher and has worked with hundreds of performing arts students. As a private instructor, she has guided her students in piano, voice, and acting. Sharon is a fun and innovative teacher. Her wealth of experiences has made her a well-rounded teacher. She has a great sense of humor with a serious commitment to her art and her students.

Sharon is an incredible piano teacher. She is enthusiastic, joyful, funny, supportive and has an immense depth of knowledge when it comes to the piano. You can tell she loves what she does which means every lesson is a pleasure. I couldn't have picked a better teacher. I would and I do recommend her to anyone interested in learning to play the Piano

Sharon is friendly, supportive and super encouraging. She moves at the student’s pace, and keeps a good handle on the progression of the lesson, so that you get a good chunk of instruction/learning while not being overwhelmed. I’m a newbie at music instruction, and Sharon was wonderful in every aspect for someone starting like me. I’m sure she’d be just as fabulous for a more experienced piano player.

Fantastic first lesson. Sharon is great to work with. She explains the process and then we get right into the music and vocals. She's very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I'm looking forward to my next lesson.
