I love seeing my students learn. I enjoy making music so much that I’m always happy when someone else gets closer to their dream of playing a special piece or being able to figure out sheet music by themselves or whatever it is that they achieve. I am a trained classical musician with Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music. I have worked with good teachers, great teachers and not so good teachers. Great performers are not always great teachers. I put myself aside and see what the student needs, keeping in mind that we all need technique, aural skills and reading skills to play. I expect my students to work, and give them the best ideas I have for effective practice, so they can do their best.
