I enjoy helping students of all skill levels reach their music goals! Each lesson is tailored to include a mix of fun and challenges. I aim to build a strong foundation of music theory and establish technique that releases tension in the hands, arms, and body for optimal musical expression. I began piano lessons at age 5 with my church-organist grandmother and studied with many other music instructors over the years. At 19, I won a Young Artists Competition, performing the first movement of Grieg's Piano Concerto in A Minor with the Southwest Florida Symphony. I also gained significant experience in choral music, church music, ensembles, and vocal music during my studies at Florida Southwestern College and Wheaton College in Illinois before earning a bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary Music Study from Berklee Online College of Music. My degree program included studies in blues and jazz, music business, arranging, and music production. I look forward to helping make YOUR music journey enjoyable for a lifetime of musical enrichment!
