I am a wife and mother of 4 children who majored in piano performance in college. I studied with music professors at Florida Southwestern College and also at Wheaton College in Illinois. At age 19, I won a young artist's competition and performed the first movement of Grieg's piano concerto with the Southwest Florida symphony orchestra. I taught piano lessons throughout college and have a strong background in music theory, composition, church music, and piano performance. I've lived in the Raleigh area for the past 11 years. I love music and enjoy instilling that passion in my students, whether they are beginning or continuing their study of music. Other teaching experience includes 9 years of homeschooling my own children and 1 year teaching social studies classes to elementary students at a church school.
I teach social studies classes to elementary students.
