Hi I'm Shannon! As a musician with 20 years of experience, I frequently perform as a soprano soloist, and am a skilled interpreter of light lyric and coloratura operatic, oratorio, and art song repertoire, from the baroque to the modern periods. I love helping other singers find their truest and healthiest voices, and to discover the repertoire that really makes their voices shine. I have also worked as a choral director for nearly 10 years, working with children's, youth, and adult choirs performing classical and contemporary music. I learned conducting from instructors from the Liszt Academy in Budapest, Hungary and have honed my technique through practical application. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Holy Names University, and completed extensive graduate work in vocal performance, vocal pedagogy, Kodaly pedagogy, and choral direction.
